Description

Delightful dessert bites packed with rich chocolate flavor, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows (optional)
  • Chocolate frosting (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin tin.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter with the water and cocoa powder over medium heat, stirring until well combined.
  3. Mix your sugar, flour, salt, and baking soda together in a large bowl.
  4. Pour the warm chocolate mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, stirring until you achieve a smooth batter.
  5. Fold in the mini marshmallows if desired.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared muffin tins, filling each cavity about two-thirds full.
  7. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool completely before generously frosting with chocolate frosting.
