Description

A quick and flavorful dish combining savory beef, aromatic ginger, and a hint of sweetness from honey, perfect for a weeknight dinner or special gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 500g beef mince
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece ginger, grated
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • Cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Begin by heating the vegetable oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Once hot, add the minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing until aromatic and golden.
  3. Increase the heat slightly and add the beef mince. Cook until it’s browned and fully cooked through.
  4. Next, stir in the soy sauce, honey, and rice vinegar, mixing well to combine.
  5. Season it with a pinch of salt and pepper to your liking. Allow it to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  6. Serve hot, beautifully garnished with sliced green onions and chopped cilantro.

Notes

Feel free to substitute beef mince with turkey for a leaner protein option.
