Description

Delicious and flaky Spinach Feta Pinwheels made with puff pastry, fresh spinach, and creamy cheeses – perfect for appetizers or snacks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Lightly flour your surface and roll out the puff pastry sheet until it’s even in thickness.
  3. Combine in a mixing bowl the chopped spinach, feta, ricotta, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread the spinach mixture evenly over the puff pastry.
  5. Roll the pastry up tightly into a log, then slice it into pinwheels.
  6. Place the pinwheels on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Brush the tops with the beaten egg for that beautiful golden finish.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until they turn a lovely golden brown.
  9. Serve them warm and enjoy every bite!

Notes
