- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup raspberry jam
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a square baking dish.
- Combine the oats, flour, brown sugar, melted butter, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
- Form the crust by pressing half of the oat mixture firmly into the baking dish.
- Layer evenly spread raspberry jam over the crust.
- Top with the remaining oat mixture and add sliced almonds if desired.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool in the dish before cutting into squares.
Notes
Serve warm with ice cream or yogurt. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
