Description

Delightful bars combining sweet-tart raspberries and hearty oats, perfect for snacks, breakfast, or dessert.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup raspberry jam
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a square baking dish.
  2. Combine the oats, flour, brown sugar, melted butter, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Form the crust by pressing half of the oat mixture firmly into the baking dish.
  4. Layer evenly spread raspberry jam over the crust.
  5. Top with the remaining oat mixture and add sliced almonds if desired.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Cool in the dish before cutting into squares.

Notes

Serve warm with ice cream or yogurt. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
