Description

Delicious, spongy pumpkin cake donuts flavored with warm spices, perfect for fall.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. Combine the pumpkin puree, sugar, brown sugar, and vegetable oil in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Beat in the eggs until everything is well mixed.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, mixing until just blended.
  6. Spoon the batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity about two-thirds full.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
