Description

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter in a bowl. Mix until everything is well coated.
  2. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a tart pan. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes to allow it to set.
  3. Beat together the creamy peanut butter and powdered sugar until it’s silky smooth. Spread this mixture evenly over the cooled crust.
  4. Heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it starts to simmer. Pour it over the chopped semi-sweet chocolate and let it sit for 2-3 minutes. Stir until it’s beautifully smooth, then add the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt for depth.
  5. Pour the rich ganache over the peanut butter layer, spreading it out evenly. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
