Description

Quick and delicious Mini Caprese Bites featuring fresh cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes
  • 1 cup Fresh Basil
  • 8 oz Small Mozzarella Balls
  • 2 tbsp Balsamic Glaze
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • 12 Toothpicks or Small Skewers

Instructions

  1. Start by rinsing your cherry tomatoes and drying them gently.
  2. Wash and pat dry your basil leaves.
  3. If using small mozzarella balls, ensure they are drained; if larger, cut them into bite-sized pieces.
  4. Assemble the bites: On each toothpick, layer a cherry tomato, a basil leaf, and a mozzarella ball. Repeat this until all ingredients are used.
  5. Arrange the assembled bites on a serving platter.
  6. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze.
  7. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste, and add any additional herbs if desired.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 24 hours.
