A colorful dessert featuring a cookie-like crust topped with a creamy layer and fresh fruits, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Assorted fresh fruits (like strawberries, kiwis, blueberries, and more)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the sugar and softened butter until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Stir in the flour, baking powder, and salt, mixing until combined.
  4. Press the dough into a pizza pan, shaping it into a crust. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown, and allow to cool completely.
  5. Beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture generously over the cooled crust.
  7. Top with your chosen assortment of fresh fruits, slice into wedges, and serve!

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute low-fat cream cheese or Greek yogurt. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
