Description
A quick yet luxurious pasta dish combining rich chorizo and succulent prawns in a creamy sauce.
Ingredients

- 200g pasta (fettuccine or spaghetti)
- 200g prawns (peeled and deveined)
- 100g chorizo sausage (sliced)
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 200ml heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
- Parmesan cheese (grated, optional)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until the onion becomes translucent.
- Add the sliced chorizo to the skillet and cook until it’s nice and crispy.
- Toss in the prawns, cooking until they turn pink and opaque.
- Pour in the heavy cream, stirring until combined. Let it simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens a bit.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat it well in the creamy goodness.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and optional grated Parmesan cheese. Serve hot.

Feel free to swap out pasta types or substitute prawns with chicken or other seafood.
