Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, then drain any excess fat.
- Add the diced potatoes, onions, and carrots to the skillet and cook until the vegetables are tender. Season with salt and pepper.
- Combine the flour and butter in a mixing bowl, then gradually add water to form a smooth dough.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into circles.
- Place a spoonful of the beef mixture on one half of each circle, fold over, and crimp the edges to seal.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg for a shiny finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
