Description

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl. Set this mixture aside.
  3. Cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large bowl until smooth.
  4. Add the vanilla extract and the egg to the mixture, blending until fully combined.
  5. Fold the dry ingredient mixture into the wet ingredients, stirring just until combined—don’t overmix!
  6. Gently fold in the chocolate chips, ensuring they’re evenly distributed.
  7. Pour the cookie dough into a cast iron skillet, spreading it evenly across the bottom.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown and the center is set.
  9. Serve the cookie warm, ideally topped with a scoop of ice cream.
