Description

A delightful twist on traditional pizza featuring creamy burrata, crunchy pistachios, and peppery arugula.


Ingredients

  • 1 package pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 8 oz burrata cheese
  • 1 medium red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups fresh arugula
  • 1/2 cup pistachios, chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  4. Add olive oil over the dough, then season with salt and pepper.
  5. Spread the burrata evenly across the dough.
  6. Layer the sliced red onions and sprinkle with chopped pistachios.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
  8. Finish by topping with fresh arugula before slicing and serving.

Notes

For a firmer cheese, swap burrata for ricotta. To make it dairy-free, omit the nuts.
