Description

A flavorful and quick twist on classic orange chicken, perfect for weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken thighs, diced
  • 2 oranges, juiced and zested
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the juice and zest of the oranges, soy sauce, honey, olive oil, garlic, ginger, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.
  2. Toss the diced chicken into the marinade and let it soak in the flavors for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your Blackstone grill over medium-high heat, ensuring it’s hot and ready for cooking.
  4. Add the marinated chicken to the grill, cooking for 6-8 minutes. Stir occasionally until the chicken is thoroughly cooked and has nice char marks.
  5. Once done, take it off the heat and garnish with freshly chopped green onions.
  6. Serve the delicious chicken over rice or alongside your favorite vegetables.

Notes

For a vegan version, substitute chicken with tofu or tempeh. Opt for longer marination for enhanced flavor.
