Ingredients

- 1 can (15 oz) cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh herbs (such as parsley or cilantro)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)
- Buns and toppings of your choice (such as lettuce, tomato, avocado, and your favorite sauces)
Instructions
- Mash the cannellini beans in a bowl using a fork until mostly smooth with some chunks remaining.
- Stir in the panko breadcrumbs, chopped herbs, garlic powder, onion powder, and a generous seasoning of salt and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into patties of your desired size.
- Chill the patties in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to help them hold their shape.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the patties for approximately 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve the burgers on toasted buns with your favorite toppings and sauces.
