Description

Delightful Vegan Jam Tarts filled with luscious raspberry jam, perfect for family gatherings or casual snacks.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup vegan butter or margarine
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1 cup raspberry jam (homemade or store-bought)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the all-purpose flour and powdered sugar in a mixing bowl.
  3. Cut in the vegan butter using a fork or pastry cutter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Gradually add the cold water, mixing until the dough comes together.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface until it’s about 1/8 inch thick.
  6. Cut circles from the dough to fit into a greased muffin tin.
  7. Spoon a generous amount of raspberry jam into each pastry shell.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the pastry is golden around the edges.
  9. Allow the tarts to cool before serving them up.

Notes

For variations, use different fruit jams or add spices for a twist. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days.
