Ingredients
- Rice paper wrappers
- Firm tofu, crumbled
- Carrots, shredded
- Cabbage, shredded
- Mushrooms, chopped
- Garlic, minced
- Ginger, minced
- Soy sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Heat a splash of oil in a pan and sauté minced garlic and ginger until aromatic.
- Add the chopped mushrooms, shredded carrots, and cabbage. Cook until the vegetables soften.
- Stir in the crumbled tofu along with soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Soak rice paper wrappers in warm water until they become pliable.
- Lay a wrapper on a flat surface, place a spoonful of the filling in the center, then fold and roll tightly to enclose the filling.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the dumplings until they are crispy and golden on both sides.
- Serve the dumplings with a dipping sauce of your choice for an added flavor boost.
Notes
For a gluten-free option, use tamari instead of soy sauce and gluten-free rice paper wrappers.
