Description

Delicious and flavorful dumplings filled with firm tofu, assorted vegetables, and aromatic seasonings, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • Rice paper wrappers
  • Firm tofu, crumbled
  • Carrots, shredded
  • Cabbage, shredded
  • Mushrooms, chopped
  • Garlic, minced
  • Ginger, minced
  • Soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Heat a splash of oil in a pan and sauté minced garlic and ginger until aromatic.
  2. Add the chopped mushrooms, shredded carrots, and cabbage. Cook until the vegetables soften.
  3. Stir in the crumbled tofu along with soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  4. Soak rice paper wrappers in warm water until they become pliable.
  5. Lay a wrapper on a flat surface, place a spoonful of the filling in the center, then fold and roll tightly to enclose the filling.
  6. Heat oil in a pan and fry the dumplings until they are crispy and golden on both sides.
  7. Serve the dumplings with a dipping sauce of your choice for an added flavor boost.

Notes

For a gluten-free option, use tamari instead of soy sauce and gluten-free rice paper wrappers.
