Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can tuna, drained
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 4 slices of bread (whole grain or your choice)
  • Lettuce leaves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix the tuna with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl until well combined.
  2. Lay out your slices of bread on a clean surface and spread the tuna mixture generously on two of the slices.
  3. Add cucumber slices over the tuna mixture, ensuring even distribution.
  4. If desired, layer fresh lettuce leaves on top of the cucumbers.
  5. Place the other two slices of bread on top to complete your sandwiches.
  6. Cut each sandwich in half and serve immediately.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute mayonnaise with Greek yogurt. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
