- 1 can tuna, drained
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 4 slices of bread (whole grain or your choice)
- Lettuce leaves (optional)
Instructions
- Mix the tuna with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl until well combined.
- Lay out your slices of bread on a clean surface and spread the tuna mixture generously on two of the slices.
- Add cucumber slices over the tuna mixture, ensuring even distribution.
- If desired, layer fresh lettuce leaves on top of the cucumbers.
- Place the other two slices of bread on top to complete your sandwiches.
- Cut each sandwich in half and serve immediately.
Notes
For a lighter option, substitute mayonnaise with Greek yogurt. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
