- 12 manicotti pasta shells
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 cups spaghetti sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the manicotti shells based on the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Carefully fill each manicotti shell with the cheese mixture; don’t be shy, pack it well!
- Spread a thin layer of spaghetti sauce in the bottom of a baking dish.
- Lay the stuffed shells in the dish and top with the remaining spaghetti sauce.
- Sprinkle with extra mozzarella cheese for that melty top.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and let it bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For best flavor, consider adding a sprinkle of fresh basil or crushed red pepper as a garnish.
