Description

A delicious Italian dish featuring creamy ricotta, gooey mozzarella, and sharp Parmesan cheese stuffed in tender manicotti shells, topped with zesty spaghetti sauce.


Ingredients

  • 12 manicotti pasta shells
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cups spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the manicotti shells based on the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Carefully fill each manicotti shell with the cheese mixture; don’t be shy, pack it well!
  5. Spread a thin layer of spaghetti sauce in the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Lay the stuffed shells in the dish and top with the remaining spaghetti sauce.
  7. Sprinkle with extra mozzarella cheese for that melty top.
  8. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and let it bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  10. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For best flavor, consider adding a sprinkle of fresh basil or crushed red pepper as a garnish.
