Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Combine the butter, honey, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a small mixing bowl. Mix until smooth and set aside.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the chicken breasts. Cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side until golden and fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F). Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Pour the chicken broth into the same skillet to deglaze the pan, scraping up any flavorful bits stuck on the bottom.
  5. Stir in the butter mixture and cook until everything is smooth.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet, ensuring it’s well coated with the sauce. Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes to allow it to soak up the flavors.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
