Instructions

- Whisk the milk, egg, and melted butter together in a separate bowl until smooth.
- Fold the wet ingredients into the dry mixture until just combined; avoid overmixing.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat until hot, but not smoking.
- Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Fry until golden brown on all sides.
- Remove the donut bites and drain on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
- Mix together the sugar and cinnamon for rolling in a small bowl.
