Instructions

  1. Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in a mixing bowl, stirring well to mix.
  2. Whisk the milk, egg, and melted butter together in a separate bowl until smooth.
  3. Fold the wet ingredients into the dry mixture until just combined; avoid overmixing.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat until hot, but not smoking.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Fry until golden brown on all sides.
  6. Remove the donut bites and drain on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
