Description

Flavorful sweet chili meatballs that can impress guests and are perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce (plus more for drizzling)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped green onions, soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, egg, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt in a large mixing bowl until well mixed.
  2. Shape the mixture into uniform meatballs, about 1-2 inches in diameter, and place them into your Crockpot.
  3. Pour additional sweet chili sauce over the meatballs to infuse flavor.
  4. Cover the Crockpot and cook on low for 240-360 minutes, or until the meatballs are thoroughly cooked and tender.
  5. Serve the meatballs warm as an appetizer or spoon them over rice for a main dish.

Notes

For a leaner version, substitute ground turkey or chicken; for gluten-free, swap soy sauce with a gluten-free alternative.
