Description

A comforting and creamy Swedish Meatball Noodle Bake featuring tender meatballs, hearty egg noodles, and a rich sauce topped with melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz egg noodles
  • 1 lb frozen meatballs
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the egg noodles per the package directions, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well blended.
  4. Add the cooked noodles and frozen meatballs to the soup mixture, mixing gently until everything is well-coated.
  5. Pour the entire mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheese generously over the top.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until everything is heated through and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Feel free to substitute chicken broth for beef broth or use gluten-free noodles. Browning the meatballs before adding can enhance the flavor.
