Description

A delightful dessert combining sugar cookies with creamy lemon filling for a refreshing treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of sugar cookie mix
  • 1/2 cup of butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup of cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup of lemonade
  • 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
  • Lemon zest for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the sugar cookie mix with the softened butter and egg in a bowl. Mix until they form a cohesive dough.
  3. Press this mixture into the bottom of a greased baking dish, forming a nice crust.
  4. In another bowl, combine the cream cheese, lemonade, and powdered sugar. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  5. Pour this lemon filling over the already prepared cookie crust.
  6. Bake in your preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are beautifully golden.
  7. Allow it to cool before garnishing with fresh lemon zest, then slice and serve!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4-5 days. Can be frozen for up to two months.
