Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 slices of bread (brioche or challah recommended)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 2 eggs

  4. Whisk together the eggs, milk, and cinnamon until well combined.
  5. Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, coating both sides.
  6. Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Add butter and let it melt.
  7. Cook the stuffed French toast for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm, drizzled with maple syrup.

Notes

For an even creamier filling, add a touch of lemon zest. Experiment with different fruits or fillings!
