Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your donut mold.
  2. Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a mixing bowl.
  3. Combine the buttermilk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl, mixing until blended.
  4. Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined, then fold in the chopped strawberries.
  5. Spoon the batter into your greased donut mold, filling each cavity about two-thirds full.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted.
  7. Cool slightly in the mold before gently removing them.
