Description
A fiery twist on the classic burger with smoky chipotle goodness and creamy chipotle mayo.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 2–3 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, minced
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 slices of cheese (your choice)
- Lettuce leaves
- Chipotle mayo (mix mayo with minced chipotle and adobo)
Instructions
- Combine ingredients: In a large bowl, mix together the ground chicken, minced chipotle peppers, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until everything is well blended.
- Form patties: Shape the mixture into burger patties, ensuring they are uniform in size for even cooking.
- Preheat and cook: Heat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until they are fully cooked through and the juices run clear.
- Add cheese: In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty, allowing it to melt beautifully.
- Assemble the burgers: On your favorite buns, place the patties, add crisp lettuce, and generously spread the chipotle mayo on top.
- Serve and enjoy!: Dig into your burgers while theyโre hot and savor the delightful flavors.
