Ingredients

- 1 cup cooked lentils
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (use gluten-free if needed)
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp coriander
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 cup shredded cabbage
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Combine the cooked lentils, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix well until the ingredients are fully combined.
- Form the mixture into burger-sized patties using your hands.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 5 minutes on each side or until they turn golden brown and crisp.
- Prepare the tahini slaw by mixing tahini, lemon juice, shredded cabbage, and a pinch of salt in another bowl.
- Serve the lentil burger on a plate, top with tahini slaw, and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
