- Marinara sauce (for dipping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Combine your sourdough discard, flour, salt, and garlic powder in a mixing bowl. Mix until it forms a workable dough.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface until it turns smooth and elastic, about 2-3 minutes.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle, aiming for roughly 1/4 inch thick.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese, chopped pepperoni, and Italian seasoning evenly over the dough.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log shape and slice it into 1-inch pieces.
- Arrange the rolls on a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush the tops lightly with olive oil for a golden finish.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until they are beautifully golden brown.
- Serve warm with marinara sauce alongside for dipping.
