Description

A fun and interactive dessert that combines bananas with melted chocolate and marshmallows, served warm and topped with whipped cream, nuts, and cherries.


Ingredients

  • 4 ripe but firm Bananas
  • 1 cup Chocolate chips (dark, milk, or white)
  • 1 cup Marshmallows
  • 1 cup Whipped cream (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1/2 cup Chopped nuts (walnuts, almonds, or pecans)
  • Maraschino cherries for garnish

Instructions

  1. Slice the bananas lengthwise while keeping the skin on.
  2. Place the bananas on a square of aluminum foil, cut side up.
  3. Stuff the openings of the bananas with chocolate chips and marshmallows.
  4. Wrap the foil securely around each banana.
  5. Carefully place the wrapped bananas over the campfire for about 10-15 minutes.
  6. Unwrap the foil carefully, and add whipped cream, chopped nuts, and cherries.

Notes

Choose ripe but firm bananas for best results. You can also customize toppings based on preference.
