Description

Succulent shrimp tossed with zesty seasonings and creamy sauce, served on buttery brioche buns for a delightful twist on a classic seafood dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 brioche buns
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon celery salt (optional)
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the shrimp: In a bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil, paprika, salt, and pepper. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and cook the shrimp until they are pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Set aside.
  2. Make the sauce: In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, parsley, dill, garlic powder, and celery salt (if using). Mix until well blended. Adjust the seasoning to your taste.
  3. Prepare the buns: Slice the brioche buns in half and toast them lightly until golden brown.
  4. Assemble the rolls: Spread a generous layer of the sauce on the inside of each bun. Fill each bun with shrimp and top with additional sauce if desired. Serve with lemon wedges to brighten up the flavors!

Notes

For a lighter option, use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise. Leftover shrimp can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
