- 1 pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 avocado, mashed
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1 small jalapeño, minced (optional)

Instructions
- Chop the shrimp: Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to a food processor. Pulse until the shrimp is coarsely chopped, then transfer to a mixing bowl.
- Mix all ingredients: To the bowl, add breadcrumbs, cilantro, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, pepper, the beaten egg, and lime juice. Mix until everything is well incorporated.
- Shape the patties: Divide the mixture into equal portions and form them into burger patties about 1 inch thick.
- Preheat your grill or pan: Heat your grill or skillet over medium heat, lightly greased to avoid sticking.
- Cook the patties: Place the patties on your hot grill or skillet. Cook each side for about 4-5 minutes until they’re golden brown and fully cooked.
- Prepare the guacamole: While cooking, mash the avocado in a bowl. Stir in red onion, jalapeño (if using), salt, and lime juice.
- Assemble the burgers: If desired, toast your burger buns. Layer each bun with a shrimp patty and generously top with guacamole.
- Add toppings: Garnish with your choice of lettuce, tomato, or any other favorite toppings.
- Serve: Enjoy immediately while everything is hot and fresh!
Notes
For a gluten-free option, replace regular breadcrumbs with gluten-free breadcrumbs. Feel free to customize toppings based on your preferences.
