Description

A delicious and satisfying frittata packed with sausage and fresh spinach, perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dinner.


Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup cooked sausage, crumbled
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 onion, diced (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. If youโ€™re using onion, add it now and sautรฉ until it becomes translucent.
  3. Toss in the crumbled sausage and spinach, cooking until the spinach has wilted.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  5. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet over the sausage and spinach.
  6. Allow it to cook for a few minutes until the edges start to set, then sprinkle the cheese on top.
  7. Move the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the frittata is set and slightly golden.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve.

Notes

Serve alongside a green salad, garnish with herbs, or add a dollop of sour cream.
