Description

A quick and delicious weeknight meal featuring savory sausage, tender sweet potatoes, and a flavorful honey garlic sauce.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound Sausage (pork, chicken, or plant-based)
  • 2 medium Sweet Potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Brown the sausage until cooked through, about 4-5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. Cook the sweet potatoes in the same skillet for 8-10 minutes until softened.
  4. Add the minced garlic and paprika. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Mix in the honey and soy sauce, then return the sausage to the skillet. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For a vegan option, substitute sausage with plant-based sausage and honey with maple syrup.
