Description

A hearty and comforting stir fry featuring sausage and cabbage, perfect for busy weeknights or family brunches.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound of sausage (Italian or your choice)
  • 1 medium head of cabbage, chopped
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.
  2. Add the sausage and cook until it’s nicely browned.
  3. Toss in the sliced onion, carrots, and minced garlic; sauté until the vegetables become tender.
  4. Stir in the chopped cabbage along with the soy sauce.
  5. Allow everything to cook together for another 5-7 minutes until the cabbage is wilted and tender.
  6. Season to taste with salt and pepper, then serve hot.

Notes

Serve over rice or quinoa for a complete meal. Experiment with different vegetables and sausages.
