- 1 pound cooked salmon, shredded
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 avocado
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Combine the shredded salmon, breadcrumbs, green onions, parsley, egg, and garlic powder in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper, then mix everything together until well combined.
- Form the mixture into small balls, placing them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the tops turn a lovely golden brown.
- Prepare the creamy avocado sauce by blending the avocado, sour cream, lime juice, and minced garlic in a blender until smooth.
- Serve the warm salmon balls alongside the avocado dipping sauce.
Notes
These salmon balls can also be served in a slider format or with fresh veggies on the side. For added flavor, consider using panko breadcrumbs or Greek yogurt.
