Description

Crispy on the outside, flaky and flavorful salmon balls served with a creamy avocado dipping sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound cooked salmon, shredded
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 avocado
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine the shredded salmon, breadcrumbs, green onions, parsley, egg, and garlic powder in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper, then mix everything together until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into small balls, placing them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the tops turn a lovely golden brown.
  5. Prepare the creamy avocado sauce by blending the avocado, sour cream, lime juice, and minced garlic in a blender until smooth.
  6. Serve the warm salmon balls alongside the avocado dipping sauce.

Notes

These salmon balls can also be served in a slider format or with fresh veggies on the side. For added flavor, consider using panko breadcrumbs or Greek yogurt.
