Description

Comforting roasted garlic ravioli in a creamy, aromatic sauce that brings warmth and satisfaction to any meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of cheese-filled ravioli
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 head of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the top off the head of garlic, drizzle with olive oil, and wrap in foil. Place it in the oven and roast for 30-35 minutes, until it’s soft and fragrant.
  3. Cook the ravioli according to the package instructions.
  4. Heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it starts to simmer gently in a saucepan.
  5. Squeeze the roasted garlic cloves directly into the cream and stir to combine.
  6. Add the fresh spinach, cooking until it wilts down. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Drain the ravioli and add it to the saucepan, tossing gently to coat with the creamy sauce.
  8. Serve hot, topping each plate with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.

Notes

For a lighter option, consider using whole wheat or gluten-free ravioli. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days in the fridge.
