Description

Delightfully spooky Peanut Butter Spider Cookies, perfect for Halloween or fun gatherings, topped with a melted Reese’s cup and chocolate drizzle.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (for melting)
  • Reese’s peanut butter cups (for topping)
  • Candy eyes (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine peanut butter, granulated sugar, egg, and baking soda in a mixing bowl. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Scoop out balls of dough using a tablespoon and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet, allowing space to spread.
  4. Bake for 8-10 minutes until the edges are slightly golden and centers remain soft.
  5. Press a Reese’s cup into the center of each cookie immediately after removing from the oven.
  6. Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth.
  7. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the cookies and top with candy eyes.
  8. Allow cookies to cool and set before serving.

Notes

Consider using dark chocolate for a sophisticated flavor. You can make these cookies gluten-free by using gluten-free one-to-one baking flour.
