- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 packet instant yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup canned peaches, chopped (fresh peaches can also be used)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- Creamy glaze: powdered sugar, milk, vanilla extract
Instructions
- Start by mixing the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a large bowl.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla until well combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir until a soft dough forms. Knead this dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth. Cover the dough with a clean cloth and let it rise in a warm place until it doubles in size.
- Once risen, roll out the dough into a rectangle on a floured surface. Spread the chopped peaches evenly over the dough, then sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar.
- Tightly roll the dough from one end to the other and slice it into individual rolls.
- Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Let them rise again until puffy.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
- While the rolls bake, prepare the creamy glaze by mixing powdered sugar with milk and vanilla extract until smooth. Drizzle this over the warm rolls before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days or freeze for longer storage. Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for a special treat.
