Description

Delicious peach bourbon meatballs that balance sweet and savory, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup peach preserves
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, parsley, egg, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix until everything is fully combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and set aside.
  3. Place the meatballs into your slow cooker.
  4. Whisk together the peach preserves, bourbon, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and red pepper flakes. Pour this sauce over the meatballs.
  5. Cook on low for 360 minutes or on high for 240 minutes, until the meatballs are cooked through and the sauce is bubbly.
  6. Serve warm as an appetizer or main dish to your delighted guests.

Notes

For a richer flavor, brown the meatballs before slow cooking. Serve with toothpicks or over rice.
