Ingredients

  • 1 stick (½ cup) salted butter, softened (for frosting)
  • 3 tbsp cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (for frosting)
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • Extra red, white, and blue sprinkles for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Cream together the softened salted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and patriotic sprinkles in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
