- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon (juiced and zested)
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Sauté garlic: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until it’s fragrant.
- Add lemon: Stir in the lemon juice and zest. Let it cook for another minute.
- Combine pasta: Toss the drained pasta into the skillet, gently mixing it with the garlic and butter mixture.
- Creamy finish: Remove from heat and stir in the grated parmesan cheese until creamy.
- Seasoning: Taste and season with salt and pepper according to your preference.
- Serve: Dish up immediately, garnished with parsley if desired.

Feel free to substitute the pasta type as per your preference. Add grilled chicken or shrimp for a more complete meal.
