Description

A quick and tangy pasta dish combining parmesan cheese and lemon for a delightful flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon (juiced and zested)
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté garlic: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until it’s fragrant.
  3. Add lemon: Stir in the lemon juice and zest. Let it cook for another minute.
  4. Combine pasta: Toss the drained pasta into the skillet, gently mixing it with the garlic and butter mixture.
  5. Creamy finish: Remove from heat and stir in the grated parmesan cheese until creamy.
  6. Seasoning: Taste and season with salt and pepper according to your preference.
  7. Serve: Dish up immediately, garnished with parsley if desired.

Notes

Feel free to substitute the pasta type as per your preference. Add grilled chicken or shrimp for a more complete meal.
