- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces

- 1 red bell pepper, roasted and sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- Additional grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
Instructions
- Begin by cooking the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until it reaches an al dente texture. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Add them to the skillet.
- Sauté the chicken until it’s cooked through and golden brown on the outside, typically around 7–8 minutes.
- Toss in the roasted red pepper slices and minced garlic. Continue sautéing for an additional 2 minutes, letting the garlic become fragrant.
- Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Allow it to simmer for 2–3 minutes, thickening slightly.
- Gradually incorporate the grated Parmesan cheese into the sauce, letting it melt and create a luscious texture.
- Sprinkle in the red pepper flakes and Italian seasoning, mixing well to ensure even flavor throughout.
- Now, add the cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet, tossing everything together until the pasta is fully coated in the creamy sauce.
- Remove from heat and stir in the fresh basil just before serving.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional grated Parmesan cheese if desired!

For a lighter sauce, substitute the heavy cream with a lighter alternative.
