Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Orange zest for garnish
Instructions
- Mix together the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, green onions, cilantro, ginger, garlic, sesame oil, salt, and pepper until everything is well combined.
- Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Heat a little oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the meatballs until they are golden brown on all sides.
- Whisk together the orange juice and soy sauce in a separate bowl before pouring it over the meatballs in the skillet.
- Let everything simmer for 10-15 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken while ensuring the meatballs are cooked through.
- Serve hot, garnished with orange zest for that extra sparkle!
Notes
For juicier meatballs, add cream or yogurt to the mixture. Serve over rice or quinoa for a complete meal.
