- 1 cup honey BBQ sauce
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parmesan cheese (optional, for serving)
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic; sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Toss in the sliced bell peppers and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in the pasta, chicken broth, and honey BBQ sauce until well combined.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to a gentle simmer.
- Cover and let it cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until the pasta is al dente.
- Add the cooked sausage back into the pot and stir to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve warm, topped with Parmesan cheese and garnished with fresh parsley.
