- 8 oz penne pasta
- 1 cup honey BBQ sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the diced chicken breast and season with salt and pepper. Sauté until browned and cooked through, approximately 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the honey BBQ sauce and chicken broth, bringing the mixture to a gentle simmer.
- Add the penne pasta, then cover the skillet. Cook according to the package instructions until the pasta is al dente, about 10-12 minutes.
- Give it a stir now and then, adding more broth if necessary to prevent sticking.
- Once the pasta has cooked, stir all the ingredients well to combine.
- Finally, garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
