Description

A cozy meatloaf filled with savory beef, creamy Swiss cheese, and earthy mushrooms, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped mushrooms
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix together the ground beef, chopped mushrooms, Swiss cheese, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Shape this mixture into a loaf and transfer it to a greased baking dish.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 60 minutes, until the meatloaf reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).
  5. Allow the meatloaf to rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to four days. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
