- 1 package of puff pastry sheets
- 1 lb ground beef (or minced meat of your choice)
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, and corn)
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until soft and fragrant (about 3-4 minutes).
- Stir in the ground meat, cooking until browned (5-7 minutes). Mix in the Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, pepper, and vegetables, cooking for another 5 minutes.
- Roll out your puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut circles about 4-5 inches in diameter.
- Gently press the pastry circles into the muffin tin to form cups. Fill each with the meat mixture.
- Top with another layer of pastry, sealing edges and brushing with the beaten egg.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
