Description

Deliciously flaky Muffin Tin Meat Pies filled with savory ground meat, vegetables, and spices, perfect for quick dinners or party appetizers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of puff pastry sheets
  • 1 lb ground beef (or minced meat of your choice)
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, and corn)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until soft and fragrant (about 3-4 minutes).
  3. Stir in the ground meat, cooking until browned (5-7 minutes). Mix in the Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, pepper, and vegetables, cooking for another 5 minutes.
  4. Roll out your puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut circles about 4-5 inches in diameter.
  5. Gently press the pastry circles into the muffin tin to form cups. Fill each with the meat mixture.
  6. Top with another layer of pastry, sealing edges and brushing with the beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Use high-quality puff pastry for the best results. These pies freeze well; just wrap securely to prevent freezer burn.
