Description

A delicious and easy-to-make side dish that transforms cabbage into a crunchy, savory delight with a rich miso butter flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 head of cabbage, cut into wedges
  • 4 tablespoons miso paste
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • Olive oil, for drizzling
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Parmesan cheese (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC).
  2. Mix the miso paste with melted butter until smooth.
  3. Place the cabbage wedges on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Brush the miso butter mixture generously over each wedge.
  5. Top with panko breadcrumbs.
  6. Roast in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until golden and tender.
  7. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese just before serving, if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the oven to maintain crunch.
