Description

Delicious Mediterranean chicken patties that are quick to prepare and bursting with flavor, perfect for any weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, fresh parsley, red onion, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, pepper, and the egg in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Mix everything together until well combined, using your hands for ease.
  3. Shape the mixture into small patties, about the size of your palm.
  4. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Place the patties in the skillet and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Serve warm with tzatziki sauce or a fresh side salad.

Notes
