Description

Delicious mango oatmeal crumble bars combining creamy mango sweetness with a buttery oat crumble, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups Fresh Mangoes, diced
  • 2 cups Old-fashioned Oats
  • 1 cup All-purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
  2. Prepare the mango filling by combining diced mango, lemon juice, and sugar in a saucepan. Simmer for about 5–7 minutes until slightly thickened. Remove from heat and let cool.
  3. Make the crumble by mixing oats, flour, brown sugar, and salt in a bowl. Melt the butter and stir it into the dry mixture until crumbly.
  4. Assemble by spreading half the crumble mixture in the baking dish, pouring the cooled mango filling over it, then sprinkling the remaining crumble on top.
  5. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and crisp.
  6. Cool completely in the pan before slicing into bars.

Notes

To keep leftovers fresh, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze wrapped in plastic wrap.
